Secrets of the Da Vinci Code!

Newsweek's cover this week shows the Last Supper, with the figure claimed in the Da Vinci Code to be Mary Magdalene Photoshopped over so that she's leaning against Jesus's shoulder. Their clothes do match -- but has anyone else noticed that instead of this creating an image of marital bliss and the fusion of the divine feminine and masculine, it looks like Jesus is trying to pull away and explain to her that he respects her greatly but they'll have to just be friends?

Leonardo really was farsighted; he was able to design his paintings to encode refutations of conspiracy theories that didn't exist yet!

Actually, it looks like Jesus is carrying around a paper cutout of Mary Magdalene.

He was like Duvid Hamelech; he composed Al Naharos Bavel before the destruction.

I agree with Rymenhild. Are we certain this was "photoshopped" and not made with the fragments of a poster and a color Xerox machine?

Not certain at all. Could very well be, and if not, I'm sure that was still the effect that was intended.
